Opportunity

Kids2 had the opportunity to acquire through a take private transaction, Summer Infant and sought financing to facilitate the transaction.  Adding the Summer Infant brand and an expanded product assortment will propel the Company towards its goal of achieving $1.0 billion in revenues and providing innovative products and real-life solutions to growing families.

Solution

SLR Credit Solutions provided a $30,000,000 first out term loan in a $110,000,000 first lien term loan.  The facility was secured by all non-working capital assets, leveraging the value of the Company’s intellectual property and brand value, as well as a second lien position in the working capital assets.
